Henna After Care

Henna Stain Progression

Allow for Henna Paste to dry a minimum of 20 mins, if possible 4+ hours. then gently scrape off with something safe like a spoon or credit card.

The henna stain on your skin should be orange now but don't worry, it will darken after 24 hours.

Moisturize with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and other similar natural moisturizers after gently scraping it off.

The final Henna Stain is the next day and it should be a reddish-brown. Make sure to moisturize regularly this prevent exfoliation & protects the stain to last 2+ weeks.

    Lasts 1-2 weeks

Tip - When you do shower, protect the stained area with a natural oil-based moisturizer like coconut oil or olive oil. So that the stained area will be protected and last 10-14 days.

DO NOT:

•Don't smudge wet henna. Smeared stains will show and will last up to 2 weeks
•Don’t use soap and water to remove henna past. If some paste stubbornly clings to the skin, dab it with olive oil, coconut oil, or something similar to get it moist and wipe off gently with a paper towel or tissue.

• Don’t use Vaseline based moisturizers, similar with getting a tattoo Vaseline blocks your henna stain from getting air and will make the stain fade away sooner than 2 weeks.

•Don’t use oils to remove dry henna paste off skin, this will make a mess, there's essential oil in the henna, it's just a bit, but please never use essential oils as a skin rub, they're very potent and could actually cause problems.
